About Dr. Leigh Brosof

Dr. Leigh Brosof is an expert in eating disorders with 10 years of experience researching and treating eating disorders across the lifespan.

Dr. Brosof received extensive training in evidenced-based treatments for eating disorders from world renowned experts. Dr. Brosof got her PhD in Clinical Psychology specializing in eating disorders at the University of Louisville in the Eating Anxiety Treatment Lab. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at UCSF in the Eating Disorders Program, specializing in child and adolescents. She has over 32 peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Brosof is passionate about bringing the highest quality of care to patients and families and making sure that each person gets the personalized treatment that works for them. Dr. Brosof treats each individual as the unique person that they are, recognizing the need for a customized and tailored therapy plan designed for THEM while utilizing scientifically-based treatment approaches.

She treats Anorexia, “Atypical” Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, and other forms of disordered eating, including Orthorexia. She also specializes in treating co-occurring disorders: anxiety disorders, including Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, and OCD, as well as depressive disorders, including Major Depression.
